Growing up in the suburbs just out of Perth, Western Australia. Ben has been writing love songs ever since we was in Primary school, with his first release coming in 2020 called "Lady Bug." A chill little indie/ folk tune recorded and performed solo.

Since then he’s been travelling the last two years, along this beautiful state performing north and south ends. In which experiencing its wonders was inspired to write his latest single "West Coast."

Linking up with a mate George on drums, creating and recording a new love song, this time about WA (West Coast).

“Out of all the songs I have written, this one has always had the most raw emotion and energy put into it. When you listen to the track, it slowly builds you with the acoustic single strum and the kick drum coming in, to then a thumping chorus:

"..it's been so long, I forget where I'm calling home, I'm staying on the West Coast, I'm staying here I'll always go.."

Olive Mae is a folk/ country singer songwriter from a small town in the southwest of WA. She taught herself guitar at age 18 after being inspired by artists such as Frente, Paul Kelly, The Waifs and Missy Higgins.

Soon after, she was performing regularly at local festivals and events in her hometown. After a significant break from music to raise her 2 boys, she released her first 2 singles in 2022, both of which were top 20 finalists in 2 categories in the 2023 WAM Song of The Year. She has just released her latest single, Girls Like You, (also a finalist in 2 categories in the 2023 WAM Song of the Year) which was inspired by the seemingly endless violence against women issue that a lot of women face at some point in their lives.

Olive is looking forward to releasing her debut EP in the second half of 2023 in conjunction with a 6-month tour of the east coast with her family.
